The Beyond Juice Corporation is a scam

I am a former store owner, they cost me my life savings, our house, a bankrupcy, and many liens, garishments and levies from the state and IRS.

Here's a link that shows several states agree with me.

My main goal is this blog is to save eithers from this pain. And other former owners to share their experience.

Hi Paul,

I wanted to share my Beyond Juice story with you, I was fortunate enough to get out before the situation was as severe as yours.

First off, are you aware of any bank accounts or assets that Beyond Juice or Sally Kline, Morrie Friedman have in Nevada? Nevada is where they are incorporated to do business.

I have a legal judgment against them so I can lien any assets in Nevada to collect.

Long story short, I looked into opening a Beyond Juice and left a refundable deposit according to Morrie Friedman to begin the process.

As things progressed they were not delivering on promises and I began to not like the work ethic I saw. Before I continued to move forward I wanted to talk to additional Beyond Juice owners. Morrie would not disclose contact info of other store owners. O.k., so I looked up store phone numbers myself in the yellow pages / Google and gave a few stores in other states a call.

I’m very glad I did that because many store owners had very unpleasant experiences. I did not tell Morrie I made these calls I just simply asked for my “refundable” deposit back because they were delinquent in delivering on the promises they made and I simply wanted to reconsider my decision.

Morrie apologized for the delays (in a face to face meeting) and said the delays were due to activities Beyond Juice was working on that would benefit me from a funding / financial standpoint. I thanked him for this and told him that I didn’t decide for sure I was pulling out on the deal and perhaps we could move forward again if things were clarified and I felt comfortable with the progress. However I wanted a refund of my deposit and would consider moving forward after I received that.

Morrie pulled out the Beyond Juice check book and wrote me a check on the spot. I’m not sure what reaction he was hoping for at the time, but I took the check, attempted to deposit it into my account and it bounced….. I’m sure this doesn’t surprise you at all. So the check bounced!

I called, etc.. to try and resolve with them only to receive more empty promises.

Even though the amount is not hugely significant, it’s not right to lie and cheat people and the amount was significant enough for me to sue them. I did it as much out of principle as to recover my money.

I sued Beyond Juice and Sally Kline (the registered agent of Beyond Juice) for the bounced check amount (it is against the law to issue a bad check). Of course they never showed up or acknowledged the action.

None the less I have a judgment against them and can now lien any assets I can find. So if you know of any assets, bank accounts, houses, corporate earnings. Please let me know as I will lien them.

If your out there and considering a Beyond Juice, I would be very, very careful!

Thanks for your comment. I think the blog is Googling well and I hope someone can help you find their assets. Beyond Juice Corporation has removed their addresses and locations from everything I can find. It is amazing to me they can stay in business.

I wish I had the wisdom to take the path you have taken. I am stunned when I find someone who has reopened one of the defunct stores after Morrie has ripped them off.

It seems we are on our own even though Beyond Juice is Incorporated and it doing business in several states.

The only assets they have that I know of are their warehouse in Scottsdale, AZ, which probably not covered by your successful suite in Nevada. That warehouse contains the cups, basic blend, and other additives for the stores. Any store should be able to give you the phone and address of the warehouse. Sheryl was the one running it when I ordered their stuff.

Keep us all up to date on your success?

Paul
