Hi Paul, I am going to several agencies for help in dealing with Beyond Juice. I do not want them to do to others what they did to us. Cynthia

For those who do not know Cynthia was the owner or the South Reno on South Virginia.

I agree with Cynthia, If I had only know Morrie was a felon that was avoiding being served judments, I would have not done business with him. Paul of Redding

Here's an email I received about Morrie

Dear Paul

I have a daughter and her fiance living near Reno that have become victims of Morrie's. They are days away from loosing their home and the emotional strain they are carrying is unbearable. As a parent my heart is breaking. I wish I knew what to do. My family is in Chicago and trust me they are looking for him. This individual needs to be stopped - why can't the FBI get involved? Thanks for listening

Hi,

Why haven't you posted more about Morrie? Is he an awful man and needs to be stopped. Does anyone know if there are still stores open?

The reason I don't publish new things on the blog frequently now is there have been times a new thing will cause the blog not to Google as high. So I have learned to be cautious.

I talked to the California Department of of Corporations about 3 weeks ago and they have the FBI looking for Morrie now.

I think it is just a matter of time.

I just learned the new San Diego store closed. Opened about 18 months. Make me want to scream at the ceiling. Paul

Pure Energy International ltd is one of Morrie Friedman's other companies. People should be leery of doing business with that company either.

Morrie's latest scam, I have taken the companies name out.

Redacted Signs Final Agreement with Pure Energy International
SALT LAKE CITY, UT -- 02/29/08 -- Redacted Inc. (PINKSHEETS: Redacted) today announced that it has signed the final agreement to acquire the assets and operations of Pure Energy International, Ltd., a national operator of a licensed quick-serve juice and restaurant concept known as Beyond Juice®. “Remaining matters before a final closing are limited to the exchange of formal documents, and other minor performance tasks related to the logistics of the asset transfer, ” said Redacted.
The acquisition was completed as an equity exchange of seven million shares of restricted Redacted public
stock for the Pure Energy assets and operation, making the Pure Energy shareholders majority beneficial
owners. The Company will be engaged in streamlining, upgrading and augmenting the operations infrastructure while continuing to cultivate opportunities to license additional locations. The company has fielded inquiries from potential licensees from nearly all fifty states as well as from several significant quick-serve master territory operators.
“The time is right for healthy meal and juice options in the marketplace”, said Redacted, “Customers are saying that they don’t want a healthy meal with only a soft drink option, but neither are they satisfied with merely a juice smoothie.” “Offering the consumer access to the patented ‘Meal-In-A-Cup’ product, along with sensible salad and sandwich choices in the same location, has proven to be a winner in current markets,”

I just discovered the formerly closed Beyond Juice store in Phoenix at 2 North Central has reopened. Everyone in or near Phoenix please swing by and support this store. They face the plaza on the north east side of the building. Paul of Redding.

apparently the couple who ran the Ann Arbor store discovered there is no future in a Beyond Juice store.

Please pray for and support the new couple. And if anyone is near the store support them. If you get to talk with them, ask them if they knew about the cease and desist orders in six states plus this blog?

Hi Paul. I think I just stated in my comment that my ex son-in-law and daughter opened the first Beyond Juice in Reno and had major problems from the first. When they went under, Heather tried to do some investigating but didn't perservere, and her marriage broke up. They lost all their savings too. I just wondered if people are pursuing a class action suit or if Morrie had been found yet.

Wow! YOu left a msg on my long defunct blog! I wasn't sure who was leaving a msg at first. My email is Candyinsierras@yahoo.com

There is nothing new I know of to report. Stores because of the way Beyond Juice does business are hard to locate, but I don't believe they have sold a new full priced store since the blog went up.

I have a couple unverified reports Morrie has left Arizona and calls the north part of Chicago home. One person saw him leaving the Chicago building where his lawyer is located. One saw him with a couple grandkids in the backseat.

All reports are welcomed.

I feel bad about your daughter and son in law, unfortunately it is a common story with Morrie and his trail of unsuccesful stores.

This link at the Better Business Bureau has a new fine against Morrie in Washington State. It also shows no complaints for the last 36 months against them and a button to press if you want to file a complaint. I will file a complaint as soon as I type up a summary that I can cut and paste into their form. Please file a complaint as soon as you can put the details together. Does not seem right there are none?
